  • Blanche Parry of Bacton
Blanche Parry, close to Queen Elizabeth I for 56 years, was pre-eminent at the centre of the Elizabethan Court. Lord Burghley was her friend and cousin. She was buried at St Margaret's, Westminster, and there is a fine monument to her in St Faith's, Bacton in the Golden Valley. She was also the great aunt of Rowland Vaughan.
